Devlog #6: Beta I

Gameplay Updates

We continued to improve gameplay and have begun more regular playtests to improve the player's experience! This includes:

  • Implementing grenades

  • Refining Enemy Spawning

  • Continuing to work on Buffs

Level and Environment Work

We've begun to really dive into environment art this sprint and how we'll move it forward. Currently the majority of textures and assets are placeholders that we'll update with in-house assets where possible, and pre-made where not!

Level work also includes creating puzzles for the train station levels, as well as the foundations of audio logs that will give a narrative drip to the player!

Characters and Enemies

We have continued to make progress on the enemies with different variations, animation work, and making progress writing dialogue and reviewing auditions for voice actors!
